Tests and Results

TESTS ORGANISED BY HOSPITAL DOCTORS
We do not get results of tests requested by hospital doctors.  These are sent straight to the hospital and you should contact the secretary of the consultant/ specialist you are under. 
Results from these tests are usually available at your next hospital appointment. 

Blood Test Results 

Please allow at least three working days before telephoning the surgery for your result.  Complex test results may take longer than this to reach the surgery, and your doctor, nurse, health care assistant or phlebotomist will let you know how long to wait before contacting us for the result. 

X-Ray and Scan Results 

Please allow at least seven working days before telephoning the surgery for your result.
